You will probably end up regretting it if you don't buy them.
What do you have on the car at present, wheel-wise?

Knights Shield wrote:I've seen some replicas with 14's on them and they don't look half bad to be honest with you. As for cost, I'm not sure what the going rate is for a set of 14's so I'm unable to compare. If you did pass them up and wait for a set of 15's, it could be a while, or you could wait and see how things work out with the replica wheels that a couple of vendors are making. If memory serves, they use a rim from another vehicle and then make a new centre piece to simulate the turbo cast appearance we all know and love. All you have to do then is get a set of replica hub caps and you're all done in the wheel department. In theory (and practice), you have a couple of choices. I've not seen a replica with these new wheels on them yet, but I've seen a video on YouTube that at least shows them and they are pretty cool to behold. Personally, I'd get the replica wheels, at least they are the correct size and you don't have to worry so much about looking for gold dust, as it were.

hey derek: can u send or post some pics of ur car,,that would be awesomeDerekw76 wrote:If the wheels are in good shape that is a good price with caps included!
I had a set of 14s my self. I was going to put them on my car and use them untill I found my 15s.
I dont think they would look all that bad on a replica. You can just see alittle more under the fenders than you can with the 15s.
Worse case senerio you hang on to them for a while until you get a set of 15s, I am sure you would be able to sell them down the road for what you are going to pay.
If they are in good shape snach 'em up, or save up and hold out for the hard to find 15s.
In the end its up to you.
scatpack01 wrote:that is too much for 14s. You can get 15s for that price.

You can get a good set of 15s with caps for 425??
I'd be impressed. Maybe if you look for a year.
I have never seen a set of 15s in that price range and I look every day.
I know that it does happen once in a great while if you get very lucky perhaps.

Team Riptide wrote:Check out the Southern Knights thread. I have 14's on my car. See if you can spot them. They were in good shape when I got them from Mark (you da man) and with the restoring of the caps, they look great. I know the 15's are the coveted wheels but I have no intention of making a change any time soon. I have 5 of them with 6 caps in all. I am happy with my 14's and if you can find them at a good price, I say go for it! Just my humble opinion!
