I don't think its half as good as KITT's dash. It looks so close to stock and that keyboard just seams unnecessary. I can't imagine it being easy to get into the passenger side.

It actually reminds me of the Knight 3000 Dash.

it is the 3000's dash ;)

If they don't put a scanner on this car, I can't get behind it.

And Where is the VOX?

Looks almost like my dash in my Knight 4000. And since my car is next inline I can see why my dash looks like it does. Hmmmmm.............

You guys realize that this is 2007?? It's not 1982. Lets face it folks. They aren't trying to sell the show to us. They're trying to sell it to everyone else.

And let's be really honest. Most people on this board won't be happy unless the show has DH behind the seat of an 82. No matter what else they do it's gonna piss most of you off.

You guys should read Victor Kros' views on the new car:

I agree with him. The new KITT hasn't got the artistic look that the original had.

That I do agree with. But constantly complain because it looks too "ricerish" or is not the 82 is silly. The reality is it's 25 years later. Tastes change. Things evolve. Fast and the Furious made alot of money. There must be something to it.

I don't know what I was expecting when this all broke, but I am happy with the decisions they made.

yeah..! it doesnt look like it was made over a rushed weekend out of styrofoam on a cheap TV budget.

Where is the rub on transfer letters? Can we put any more redundant lights and buttons in..?

If they made this show with that car, it would be a parody... A joke.

This car was designed by an actual Industrial designer....

I love the old KITT.

But I also really like this one.

Only thing I could live without on the interior are the red lighted KITT letters on the wheel. That and I notice they left in the seat belts, so I guess the laser restraint system is out.

This is obviously a concept sketch though, so it'll be interesting to see how much of this made it into the production car.

I never really understood that laser restraint thing. How are lasers supposed to hold you in place? Wouldn't they just cut you in half?

No those are LAZERS...

As in... "You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' lazer beams attached to their heads!"

P.S. - Yeah... I never understood it either, but hey... car of the future, right?
